ABANDONED
-- Add +2 to Dex

CREEPY

DIVINE

EERIE
-- Adds +2 to Magic

ELDRITCH
-- Turns all mana and healing potions to Rejuv.

ENCHANTED (my personal favorite)
-- One spell down a level, all others up a level

(seems like it's always the chain lightning that goes down)

(bad shrine! don't touch!!!)

GLOOMY

(very rare...remember to drop all weapons, it affects the inventory as well)

(only items currently equipped. seems like the item with lowest dur.
is "guaranteed to get +10. Will help with a Thinking Cap)
HOLY
-- Teleports to another place on the level

MAGICAL

-- "While the spirit is vigilant the body thrives"
MYSTERIOUS
-- Adds 5 pts to one random stat, takes -1 from others
-- "Some are weakened as one grows strong"
(some may say that you will get your most important
stat for your class, but i have witnessed different, so i say it's random)
ORNATE
-- Holy Bolt level +2, lose 1/10 max mana
-- "Salvation comes at the cost of wisdom"
(bad shrine! don't touch!)
QUIET
-- Add +2 to Vitality
-- "the essence of life flows from within"
RELIGIOUS
-- "heals" all weapon durability
-- "Time cannot diminish the power of steel"
SACRED
-- Charged bolt +2 levels, lose 1/10 max mana
-- "Energy comes at the cost of wisdom"
(another bad one! don't touch!)
SECLUDED
-- Completes automap for level

(not very useful if you are trying to clear the level)
SPIRITUAL
-- Fills inventory with gold (a piece at a time I think!)

SPOOKY

THAUMATURGIC (never seen this one)

WEIRD

(very rare)
Other comments:
1. The Goat Shrines and Cauldrons are random. Don't touch them, because the potential damage outweighs possible benefits.
2. Black Death is claimed to decrease your HP permanently upon touch.
3. Murky Pool casts Infravision.
4. Fountain of Blood fills health orb (one at a time).
5. Purifying Shrine fills mana orb (one at a time).
6. and in general the "no shrine" objects have positive effects.
